Worthing Town Youth FC has a thriving Girls' section with 70 registered players and more arriving all the time. Football is now the number one sport for girls in the UK and we are delighted that so many girls in Worthing have taken up the sport.

In late 2003, Girl's football was re-introduced into Worthing Town Youth FC following a two year absence after working closely with Sussex Sports Partnership and their "Kick Start" scheme.

In 2004/2005, we entered an Under 13 Team into the S.C.F.A. Women & Girls' Football League.

In June 2005, the group ran a successful girls football tournament at Worthing Leisure Centre. Nearly forty teams from all over Sussex and beyond came together for an exciting days football.

During the summer of 2005, the club merged with Worthing B.H.A. Girls' FC, a local club running girl's teams at Under 13 and Under 14.

This season, the club are running girls teams at Under 11, Under 13, Under 15 and Under 16. We also have an open age Ladies team.

The girls train on Wednesday evenings at The Glynn Owen Centre and we are always happy to welcome new players even if they have not played before and just want to come along and give it a go.
